A Very Special Guest

Happy Saturday!

My attempts to clear my plate didn't really go as planned, but God knew there was some reasons I needed a couple of weeks off, even if I didn't at the time. God is good, all the time.

So, I promised a special guest today, I am super excited about this!

A little over a week ago, I woke up in the middle of the night and noticed I had a message from Sami. Sami is the daughter of my cousin Anissa. You know that meme that goes around about cousins being your first friends? This is us. We have been friends since we were old enough to remember. Sami has always held a very special place in my heart too. I don't get to see her (or her mom) as often as I like, but when we are together, we always have a wonderful time.

Aaannyywwaayy....

Sami had sent me a message with a you tube video attached. She had done her first lesson for the kids at her church and offered to let me see it.

So, the next morning, this was my quiet time. and I was so blessed. I so love this kid and I couldn't help but think about how happy her Great-Grandmother would be.

Without further ado, I give you Sami's message on the Woman at the Well. I love how she captures the kids' attention. I love how she captured mine.




Sami turned 18 just a few weeks ago, I am so very proud of her. Her mom said she has been helping with the youth at their church for quite a while now. I am looking forward to seeing more from her in the future.

 Happy Saturday! We made it once again! What is going on at your house today? We have a workday and I am dreading the work but excited about the possibilities of what we are going to get done. Perseverance

 Good morning beautiful people! Happy Saturday! I hope your day is filled with lots of good things and if you are going through a trial right now, I hope you can find one good thing to learn today. If nothing else, know that God is working something through you.  This Saturday finds my house getting ready to paint our family room. I am not a great painter, thank the Lord, that He sent me a man who is. Andrew may not love to paint but he makes things look so professionally done and I am always excited about what the end result is going to be. Bless his heart, I love how he goes along with my ideas, especially when he knows it means more work for him. This all started because before we had the roof replace, we had damage done to the ceiling and one wall in our family room. Being the Best

 It is Saturday once again. It has been another busy week but I look back and lots has been accomplished. My living room and dining room are still all messed up because of the attic project but I know that is to be expected. My plans for today is to get a quick run in and then work on the next 6 rafters of stuff, and hopefully have it all sorted by 3 and then use the spare bedroom to store everything that is left down here to take back. I have never had sections in my attic the way I wanted to, and I am going to try very hard to do that this time. I am hoping it keeps being as easy to get rid of most stuff as it has been so far. I am just sick of the clutter. The verses today remind me that clutter isn't good in any area of our lives. It stands in our way from letting us be the best version of ourselves for Him.
